Judy Inez Clay Nicholson, 47, of Galveston, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008, at MainlandCenterHospital in Texas City.  She was born in Parker County, Texas on June 23, 1961, to Leroy and Wilma Ethel Day Clay.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Fred Nicholson, Sr.; sons, Charles and Kenneth McKnight; brother, Jesse Clay and sister-in-law, Rosie, of Galveston; and sisters, Ann and Mary Clay, of Galveston.  Per Judy’s request, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral services at this time.  Family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life at a later date.  Judy’s family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at MainlandCenterHospital, especially the ICU.
