Eunice Mae Nash
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Eunice Mae Nash, 96, received her reward of eternal rest on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City.
Eunice was born on May 29, 1912 in Galveston to Otis and Louise Nash. She was a retried educator of the Galveston school district with 29 years of service and also a longtime member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a former member of the White Rose Grand Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and one brother. She is survived by her godchildren: Robert Hoskins, Esq.; Deborah Daniels Montgomery, and Minnie Bernard.
Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Friday, May 1, 2009, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with her pastor, Rev. A. W. Colbert officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Galveston, TX
