KEMAH BOARDWALK CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAYS
WITH 50th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BOAT LANE PARADE
Kemah Boardwalk is proud to celebrate the 50th annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade on December 10, 2011.
For 50 years, Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has invited local area-residents to participate in its annual Boat Lane Parade. Families will enjoy watching over 100 festively-decorated boats cruise along Galveston Bay. The parade starts in Nassau Bay at 6 p.m. and will pass through Kemah
between 7 and 7:30 p.m.
Throughout the day, Kemah Boardwalk will feature holiday musical performances by local schools and a special appearance by Tuba Christmas. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors will also get to enjoy listening to the free holiday entertainment from the Mary Smith Band. Visitors can listen to live music, dine at the Boardwalk's restaurants and enjoy a variety of midway games and rides. Santa will also make his way from the North Pole to take photos with everyone on the nice list at Bradford Plaza next to the Palapa from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
For those interested in entering the Boat Lane Parade, please call the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce at 281.448.7676.
