News Release
Tuesday, July 03, 2012

Investigators in the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in an armed robbery of a Radio Shack at 12670 Bissonnet on April 27th.

The suspect is described only as a black male, 18 to 20 years of age, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds.  Surveillance video of the suspect is attached to this news release.

At approximately 9:10 a.m., the suspect entered the Radio Shack and began speaking to the clerk at the register.  The suspect then produced a gun from the back of his waistband, placed it in the front waistband of his pants and demanded money from the clerk, threatening to kill the clerk if he did not comply.  The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the identity of the wanted suspect to contact the HPD Westside Robbery Squad at 281-584-4750 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
