Dr. Greg Bonnen Wins HD 24 Runoff
Dr. Greg Bonnen came out on top in the House District 24 runoff election Tuesday, earning 58% of the vote. Dr. Bonnen, who came close to winning outright in the May primary, is looking forward to uniting Republican voters against liberal Democrats in November.
Dr. Bonnen said, “I am grateful to our family, friends and neighbors whose votes, support, and prayers got us through this long and difficult election. Ryan Sitton ran hard and I look forward to working with him to unite Republicans throughout District 24. Now we’ll focus on the November election so Galveston County can continue to be represented by a pro-life conservative committed to fighting Obamacare, keeping Texans working, and cutting wasteful government spending.”
In addition to being a successful neurosurgeon and founding partner of Houston Physicians’ Hospital, Dr. Bonnen is the founder and president of the Texas Brain and Spine Center. A member of the Heritage Bank Board of Directors, he also devotes his time to missions with Builders Without Borders of Texas, Friendswood Community Church, and the Medical Strategic Network. Dr. Bonnen and his wife, Kim, have lived in Friendswood for more than a decade with their two daughters.
