Pavement Work Continues on Westbound SH 225 at Pasadena Blvd.
Travelers are urged to choose another route or departure time
Houston TranStar officials are advising the public that ongoing emergency work on two main lanes of SH 225 westbound at Pasadena Blvd. will continue into today's rush period.
Mechanical problems with the concrete truck delayed repairs, and although the truck has arrived on scene, the concrete must be poured and allowed to cure before lanes can be reopened. Travelers are urged to consider taking an alternate route or changing their travel times.
Houston TranStar is a consortium of four government agencies that coordinate and enhance transportation and emergency management services, responding to incidents and emergencies in Harris County and beyond. Sharing their resources to serve area residents are: the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Harris County, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) and the City of Houston.
