Street Closure Announcement:
South Major Dr North of US 90

Beaumont, Texas - On Tuesday, August 14th, the railroad crossing on S. Major Dr. just north of US 90 will be closed from 8 AM until 5:00 PM for replanking.  Detour signage (provided by a traffic control company) will be placed the day of the road closure and portable changeable message signs (provided by TxDOT-Traffic) will be placed today and tomorrow, to inform the public of the upcoming closure. Motorists are asked to be aware of all detour signs, advance warnings including other signage, and to proceed with caution.
