Jefferson County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve a letter of agreement with Lamar University for SETCAST taping of the commissioners court meetings.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to adopt a resolution with respect to financing certain facilities in the county by the Port Arthur Navigation District Industrial Development Corporation.

The commissioners court tabled action regarding a burn ban order for the county.  No burn ban is currently in effect for the county.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve specifications for an invitation to bid on the Runway 12/30 Remarking Project for Jack Brooks Regional Airport.

The project will be 90 percent funded through a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present.  Agenda

A budget workshop scheduled for after the meeting was cancelled and will take place at a future meeting.
