Jim Guidry Commentaries
Victor Lang Remembered
by Jim Guidry
Friday, August 22, 2014

Victor Lang was one of those guys I like to say about, “they broke the mold and then they made Victor”.  He was a truly larger-than-life person, a perfect gentleman, but he lived large and loved it.

For several years Victor authored a column on GuidryNews.com called Victor Lang Remembers.  His contributions each included an essay in his inimitable style, photos of Victor and his archives and relics, and an interview – a conversation, actually – between Victor and me.

Many of the columns were published before we redesigned the website in 2007, but most of them are preserved in our archives.

Here is a sample.  This was published on October 18, 2004:

Victor Lang Remembered:  Victor and several of his classmates visited with Guidry News Service at the 50th Year Reunion of the Class of 1954 at Ball High School. Photos and Interview

Additional columns are being processed for posting on Victor Lang Remembered.
