Port of Orange Board of Commissioners

The Port of Orange Board of Commissioners on Monday voted unanimously to renew a contract with Keri Mitchutka, CPA to provide independent auditing services for FY2016.

Mitchutka provided auditing services for the port for FY2015.

The port commission voted unanimously to advertise for marine debris removal services on Pier Road, railroad track repairs on Alabama Street, and street entry road repairs at Alabama Street.

Port Director and CEO Gene Bouillion noted that the items are related to damages observed from recent flooding in the area, and is seeking costs in order to file claims with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The port commission voted unanimously to approve Collins Engineers, Inc. for an emergency bridge inspection.

The port commission voted unanimously to continue a lease of property used as a soccer field, as discussed in executive session.

The port commission took no other action resulting from executive session discussions.

All other action items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
