Port of Orange Board of Commissioners

The Port of Orange Board of Commissioners today voted unanimously to award a $228,410 contract to Excavation Technologies, Inc. for the removal of marine debris in, on and under piers along Pier Road.

The removal is required due to debris from recent flooding at the port.

The board voted unanimously to adopt a resolution accepting valid offers to purchase property owned by the port.

The board voted unanimously to accept a proposal to continue COBRA coverage with the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool.

The board took no action regarding items to be discussed in closed session. The board did not meet in closed session.

All other action items were approved by unanimous vote. Commissioner Jimmy “Jimmy” Smith was absent. Agenda
