Port of Orange Board of Commissioners

The Port of Orange Board of Commissioners on Monday voted unanimously to approve change orders for maintenance and repairs to the port's water tower.

The change orders include an increase of $10,000 for lights and a logo, and a decrease of $3,650, as well as increases to the contract time.

The board voted unanimously to move forward regarding improvements and repairs to Pier #10 at 1160 Pier Road. The port plans to improve the pier to accommodate barges, as well as make repairs to the pier related to recent flood damages.

The board voted unanimously to renew Specialty Construction's lease of two warehouses on Pier Road, as discussed in closed session.

The board took no other action resulting from items discussed in closed session.

All other action items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
