Welcome to Christmas in St. Martinville!

The St. Martinville Garden Club invites you to join them for their annual Tour of Homes on Sun., Dec. 4, 2016 from 1-5 pm.   A guaranteed and interesting treat, your ticket of $10 allows you to visit 4 homes and a business all ready to welcome you decorated for the holidays.   This year, the homes include that of Shirley and Jon Akers on Bridge St., Gisele and Tom Bulliard, Kathy and Tom Bujard on Simien Valley and Lorraine Theriot on Perkins, as well as Mimi’s Florist on Main St.

Tickets can be purchased from any Garden Club member or at the Duchamp Opera House on Dec. 4.

The annual lighting of the square will take place on Dec. 11 at sundown.   Please join us downtown for a memorable stroll around the historic square as it lights up to celebrate the holidays.

The annual Christmas parade and Christmas on the Boulevard have been canceled this year due to unforeseen circumstances, but we’ll be back next year.  We look forward to inviting you to our Christmas activities in 2017 celebrating the Bicentennial of St. Martinville!! 

Travel to Paris with St. Martinville Main Street and enjoy its epicurean delights, as they celebrate “Midnight in Paris”, Supper on the Square on Dec. 9.   Enjoy excellent and festive local food, drinks and music.   Tickets are $40 and available by contacting 337-394-2230 or, and seatings are at 6pm and 7pm.
