Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a letter of support for House Bill 947 before the 85th Texas Legislative Session.

The legislation relates to a designation of a portion of FM 1462 as a memorial to Lieutenant Colonel Roy Tisdale. Letter

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve a lease agreement with the Keep Brazoria County Beautiful Association for a household hazardous waste collection site.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the rejection of bids for the Brazoria County Expressway and the re-advertisement of bids for the project. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to solicit proposals for a managing depository bank.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a contract for the Surfside Shores Sewer Project.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the District Attorney's Office to file an amicus curiae on behalf of the county before the Texas Supreme Court in the matter of W.A. “Andy” Meyers, individually and in his capacity as Fort Bend County Comissioner vs. JDC/Firethorne, LTD, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court took no action on any other items discussed in closed session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
