Texas A&M University at Galveston Groundbreaking Ceremony

Texas A&M University at Galveston on Thursday held a ceremony to break ground on the second phase of its Academic Complex.

The complex will total approximately 38,000 square feet and provide a large lecture facility, which can be subdivided into smaller lecture spaces, and provide new seminar rooms. The building will also provide a new space for the campus bookstore, mail services and copy center, among other features. News Release

Dr. Douglas J. Palmer, interim chief operations officer for TAMUG, Tom Vaughn with Vaughn Construction, and Dr. Michael J. Benedik, vice provost for Texas A&M University, attended the ceremony.
