Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast region include “Barefoot in the Park” in Galveston.
The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will host Montana Repertory Theatre for its production of Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” on Saturday at 8 p.m.
“Neil Simon’s relationship comedy, Barefoot in the Park, explores the art of marital negotiation,” said a news release. “Its plot provides a crash course in love, relationship, marriage, family, the pangs of loss, and the joy of reunion.” News Release
The Grand 1894 Opera House will also host “In the Mood”, presented by the Turnaround Artists, on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Theatre Under the Stars in Houston wraps up its production of “An American in Paris” this week at the Hobby Center.
Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Beaumont Community Players continues its production of “Xanadu” this week, with performances on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Betty Greenberg Center. The show runs through March 11.
Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay continues with “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” this week.
Performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through March 12.
The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its production of “Let the Right One In” this week.
Performances are on Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through March 19.
Main Street Theater in Houston continues its production of “Copenhagen”, this week.
Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 3 p.m. The show runs through March 12.
Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson ends “Cheaper by the Dozen” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
