Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to create an ad hoc committee of the city council to review Conditional Use Permit requirements and related processes.
The item was amended to appoint Council Member Derrick Reid, and not Gary Moore, to the committee. Also appointed were council members Trent Perez and Tony Carbone.
The city council voted to authorize an expenditure of $399,000 for the purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment associated with the City Hall Complex Project. The items will be purchased from the Luck Company.
The city council voted to approve the purchase of audio visual equipment and network cabling for the City Hall Complex Project in an estimated amount of $377,803. The items will be purchased from DataVox through an interlocal cooperative pricing arrangement.
The city council voted to approve the purchase of an Access Control System for the City Hall Complex Project. The purchase will be made from Convergent Technologies, in the estimated amount of $56,706.
The city council voted to amend the corporate bylaws of the Pearland Economic Development Corporation to provide an automatic resignation provision for directors who seek a publicly elected office.
All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with Council Member Greg Hill absent. Agenda
