Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to ratify a letter of support for the Brazos River Erosion Management Program, a United States Army Corps of Engineers Project.

The program includes cost sharing requirements, such as 50 percent of the $3 million cost for the feasibility phase to be paid by non-federal interests. Letter

The commissioners court held a public hearing, but took no action regarding the FY2017 Consolidated Annual Action Plan.

The commissioners court voted unanimously adopt an order creating Fort Bend County Reinvestment District Zone No. 18.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve a tax abatement agreement with Hudson Products Corporation.

Under the agreement, the county will abate 50 percent of the value of eligible improvements to the property made by Hudson Products for a 10-year term beginning in 2018.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the replat of Tamarron Trace Section 2 Street Dedication.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the replat of Tamarron Section 11, Partial Replat No. 1.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the replat of Tamarron Trace Section 1 Street Dedication.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to appoint Johnny J. Cantu to the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 10 Board of Directors.
The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a $1,972,786 contract to Angel Brothers Enterprises, LTD for parking lot paving reconstruction and miscellaneous area drainage improvements at the Fairgrounds.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to accept a proposed settlement with Teel Technologies related to a demand for payment, as discussed in closed session. Listen (2:03)

The commissioners court voted unanimously to purchase parcel 407 in the amount of $6,000, and parcel 416 in the amount of $6,651 for the FM 1093/Westpark Extension Project, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to purchase parcel 14, in the amount of $34,033, for the Gaston Road Segment 1 Project, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court took no action resulting from executive session discussions regarding the Sansbury Boulevard Project.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Commissioner Andy Meyers was absent. Agenda
