The Midtown Men Celebrate the Best of the ‘60s at The Grand!
GALVESTON ISLAND, TEXAS - Get ready for an evening of singing, dancing in the aisles, and groovin’ to the greatest tunes of the ‘60s as performed by The Midtown Men, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 8 pm. Tickets may be purchased at The Grand’s Box Office, 2020 Postoffice Street, by calling 409.765.1894, 800.821.1894, or online at www.thegrand.com.
The Midtown Men are the first vocal group ever formed by the principal cast of a high-profile Broadway show (Jersey Boys). After sharing the stage for over a thousand performances, Tony® Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony® Award nominee J. Robert Spencer decided to take their signature sound and chemistry to audiences everywhere, bringing to life their favorite 1960s hits. Experience their lively renditions of timeless ‘60s hits of The Beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, The Four Seasons, Motown, and Beach Boys. This performance is sponsored in part by The Jerome Karam Family, Hilton Galveston Island Resort, Landry’s and The San Luis Resort Spa & Conference Center.
The New York Times says, “Sidling up to the microphone, the singers had the air of the Rat Pack, Motown and a nightclub act rolled into one,” while the New York Daily News proclaims, “The Midtown Men sound as crisp as their Rat Pack-inspired suits. Their voices blend together so flawlessly on stage.” More than just a tribute to a bygone era, their performance of your favorite ‘60s hits will show you - or remind you - of what it was like to see those groundbreaking artists live onstage! Not a performance of, nor affiliated with the show Jersey Boys.
