Webster City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to award a $675,950 contract to IDS Engineering Group for the design of new infrastructure and site preparation for the initial phase of the Destination Development Project.
The project includes the insallation of approximately 3,300 linear feet of roadways, water and sanitary sewer and storm lines, as well as clearing, grubbing and filling of approximately 24.88 acres of land to prepare it for development.
The city council voted 5-0-1, with Martin Graves abstaining, to adopt a resolution declaring unopposed candidates and canceling the May 6 city election.
Mayor Donna Rogers and Council Member Martin Graves were both unopposed for re-election.
All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Mayor Rogers was absent. Mayor Pro Tem Larry Tosto presided over the meeting. Agenda
