The Galveston College Board of Regents on Wednesday voted unanimously to engage the architectural firm of EYP to develop conceptual drawings for instructional buildings at the main campus for Health Sciences and Nursing Programs and a building at the Charlie Thomas Family Applied Technology Center.
The agreement includes a total cost not to exceed $170,000.
The board voted unanimously to award a $207,600 contract to Pyramid Waterproofing to renovate the roof at the Applied Technology Center Building 2.
The board voted unanimously to accept an audit services engagement letter from Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC.
The board deferred action regarding a proposal for solutions for modern classroom technology.

The board took no action resulting from executive session discussions regarding consultation with the college's attorney concerning possible litigation involving the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Regent Fred Raschke was absent. Agenda
