Santa Fe City Council on Thursday voted unanimously to establish a new securities account with Multi-Bank Securities, Inc. for the purpose of investing city funds in the financial marketplace.
Multi-Bank Securities will provide advisory services for the city's investments.
The city council voted to grant a conditional use permit for a wireless Internet tower on approximately 4.85 acres of land located off Avenue H between 23rd and 24th streets.
The city council voted to reappoint Linda Martin, Ron Dailey, Jodi Gidley to the Park and Recreation Board.
The city council voted to authorize the Galveston County Mosquito District to conduct aerial spraying for the abatement of mosquitoes.

During the meeting, City Manager Joe Dickson reported that the city's participation in the state-wide warrant round-up resulted in clearing 151 warrants and collecting $36,233. Last year, the city had cleared 102 warrants and collected $19,743.
