Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve an agreement with the cities of Richmond and Rosenberg for the evaluation of potential quiet zones at railroad crossings.

The county will provide $100,000 for the project, and will manage the engineering contract for the initial and additional engineering design services.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an $82,387 agreement with TranSystems Corporation Consultants for data collection services regarding the quiet zones project at railroad crossings in Richmond and Rosenberg.

The commissioners court took no action regarding the replat of Meadows Marketplace, amending Plat No. 1, Partial Replat No. 1, in Precinct 3. A public hearing was held on the item.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a contract to Tron Electric for electrical services.

Tron will provide work at a rate of $105 per hour during normal hours and $157.50 after normal business hours and on weekends.

The commissioners court took no action regarding an amendment to an agreement with Linear Systems for digital information systems. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to renew policies for excess property and excess workers compensation coverage, and medical professional liability.

The commissioners court to authorize the county attorney to purchase of right of way containing 0.0715 acres of property, related to West Airport Boulevard, as discussed in closed session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
