HCSO Robbery Unit Releases Video of Aggravated Robbery Subject

Harris County, Texas - Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery investigators are releasing this surveillance video in order to have the public’s help identifying this male subject who robbed two businesses on Monday, March 13, 2017 in west Harris County.

The white male subject entered the Lifeway Christian book store in the 20200 block of the Katy freeway at around 9:30 pm that evening.

He walked around the store looking at different merchandise and talking with employees about books and inspirational pamphlets. He then approached the counter and demanded the money from the drawer.

The male told the employee that he had a gun, but did not pull the weapon from under his shirt.
He took the money and fled from the store in an unknown direction.

A separate call for service was received at the business plaza around 30 minutes before the bookstore robbery at the Thai Massage.

The same male subject walked into the business and asked about prices for the massage therapy.

The female employee told the male they only accepted cash payment. The male said he would return with cash and exited the store. He then returns to the store within about 5 minutes.

The male then pulls a knife from the back of his shirt and puts it to the neck of the female complainant.

He demands the money from the cash drawer, but the female could not open the register.

The male then flees from the business in an unknown direction.

The white male subject is 5’7 in height and weighs between 160 to 180 Lbs. He has brown colored hair and a brown mustache and goatee beard.

Anyone with information on this male is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit at 713-274-9210. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
