This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast region include “Footloose: The Musical” in Houston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will kick-off “Footloose: The Musical”, a production by HITS Theatre, on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Additional showings are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. The show runs through April 8.

Main Street Theater in Houston will officially open its production of “Grand Concourse” this week.

Preview performances are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. The official opening performance is on Saturday 7:30 p.m., and an additional performance is on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The show runs through April 30.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will host the 22nd Annual Grand Kids Festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

College of the Mainland Community Theatre continues its production of “Moon Over Buffalo” this week.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The production continues through April 9.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its production of “An Act of God” this week.

Performances are on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m. Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through April 16.

Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company in continues “Next to Normal” this week, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. The show runs through April 8.

Company OnStage in Houston wraps up its production of “Cinderella” this week, with performances on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Upcoming performances include “Dreamgirls”, presented by Theatre Under the Stars in Houston and opening April 4, and “Steel Magnolias”, presented by the Beaumont Community Players and opening April 7.
