Jefferson County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to adopt a resolution naming Ernest Hodge as the recipient of the 2016 Employee Excellence Award.
Hodge is a programmer/analyst in the Management Information Systems Department. Becky Garcia, County Clerk Administrator, was named as first finalist, and Lacy Simon, a court coordinator with the criminal district court, was named as second finalist. Listen (30:38)
The commissioners court voted to file the county’s FY2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
Pattillo, Brown & Hill, LP, the accounting firm that audited the county, issued an unmodified, or clean, opinion. The opinion is the highest level of assurance that the county’s financial records accurately reflected the financial status of the county for FY2-16. CAFR
