Students present fascinating research at the 13th Annual Texas A&M Galveston
Galveston, Texas — Texas A&M University at Galveston’s undergraduate and graduate students each year produce some fascinating and important research. On April 18 and 19 that research will be on display at the 13th Annual Texas A&M Galveston Research Symposium.
The symposium is open to all students. Students present results from their current research projects in the categories of Marine Biology, Marine Sciences, Ocean and Coastal Resources, Marine Engineering and Technology, Ocean Engineering, Maritime Administration and Maritime and Liberal Studies.
The symposium provides a venue for the exposure of student research to the broader Texas A&M Galveston community as well as provide the student researchers the opportunity to discuss their research with other participants and faculty.
The research presentations are judged for Best in Category and for an Overall Award. The general public who attend decide the People's Choice Awards for the graduate and undergraduate student posters.

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Sea Aggie Center: Undergraduate Poster Presentation and judging.
Wednesday, April 19
4:45 p.m. in the Ocean and Coastal Studies Building auditorium, room 142: Awards Ceremony
9:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Sea Aggie Center: Graduate Poster Presentation and judging.
