Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast region include The Galveston Symphony Orchestra in Galveston and Che Malambo in Houston.
The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will host the Galveston Symphony Orchestra in concert on Sunday at 4 p.m. Conductor Trond Saeverud will present “Voices,” a concert featuring pieces from Bach, Beethoven, Schubert and Mozart.
Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will present “Che Malambo” on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Miller Outdoor Theatre will also present “Music That Should Be Danced”, an all-male Agrentinian Dance Company, on Friday at 8 p.m.
Beaumont Community Players ends its production of “Steel Magnolias” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay wraps up with “The Fox on the Fairway” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Main Street Theater in Houston continues with its production of “Grand Concourse” this week.
Performances are on Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The show runs through April 30.
Upcoming performances include “Red”, opening May 18 at College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City, and “Artrageous”, at The Grand 1894 Opera House on May 6.
