College Chorale to Present Best of Broadway on May 14

Galveston College will continue its 50th anniversary celebration with an annual spring concert of the Galveston College Community Chorale on Sunday May 14, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Moody Methodist Church, located at 2803 53rd Street in Galveston. The theme for the concert is the “Best of Broadway”. Music from some of Broadway’s greatest musicals will be performed by the Galveston College Community Chorale.

Selections included in the performance are “76 Trombones” from Music Man, “Tonight” from West Side Story, “One” from Chorus Line, “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables, along with other numbers. The Galveston College Community Chorale is made up of 68 members with Director Michael Gilbert and Accompanist Ron Wyatt. The concert is free and open to the public.
