Surveillance Video, Photos of Suspects Wanted in Robbery at 181 West Dyna

Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in a robbery and shooting at 181 West Dyna about 6:10 p.m. last Saturday (May 6).

The suspects are described only as two black males between 16 and 19 years of age.  One suspect is about 5 feet 11 inches tall, 155 pounds and wore a turquoise shirt and tan pants.  The other suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 155 pounds and wore a blue coat and blue pants.

Surveillance video of the suspects can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at  Photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.

Employees of the Airline Pawn Shop at the above address had closed the business and, as they walked to their vehicles, were approached by both suspects who forced them back inside the business.  The suspects then forced the business owner to open the safe and then lie face down on the floor.  One of the suspects fired a warning shot, and then, as the business owner was lying on the ground, one of the suspects shot him in the back.  Both suspects then fled the scene in a black Nissan Altima, possibly 1990s model.

Anyone with information in this case or on the identities of the wanted suspects is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
