Clear Lake Shores City Council

Clear Lake Shores City Council, in a special meeting on Monday, voted unanimously to award a contingency contract to Crowder Gulf for debris removal in the event of a declared disaster.

The city council voted unanimously to appoint Thomas Haaland to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The city council voted unanimously to confirm the reappointment of Amanda Fenwick as mayor pro tem.

The city council voted unanimously to appoint Council Member Diana Hoerner to serve on the Bayou Animal Services Board of Directors.

The city council postponed action regarding appointments of representatives for the Kemah-Clear Lake Shores Emergency Services Board and the Clear Lake Emergency Medical Corps Board of Directors.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda

During the meeting, newly-elected Mayor Mike McNamara was installed. McNamara succeeds Vern Johnson in the position. Incumbent Council Member Jan Bailey and newly-elected Council Member Christy Lyons also took their oath of office for their positions.
