Pasadena City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to adopt a resolution denying the application of CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC for an increase in rates through its Distribution Cost Recovery Factor.

Council Member Sammy Casados noted that the item had been changed to a resolution instead of an ordinance, which it was listed as in the agenda, during the pre-council meeting.

Cody Ray Wheeler discussed the item, noting the city was joining with Houston to negotiate for better rates. Listen (1:54)
