Vax-A-Nation, blood drives come to COM

Vax-A-Nation, a mobile meningitis vaccination clinic, is coming to COM.

The vaccination for meningitis is free for those with a copy of their Medicaid/CHIP card. The cost is $20 for those 18 and under and $100 for those over 18.

June 27, 3-5 p.m.
July 11, 10 a.m. – noon
Aug. 1, 10 a.m. – noon
Aug. 9, 3-5 p.m.

The meningitis vaccine by Texas law is required for all college students who are under age 22.

COM will also host two blood drives with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center June 20-21 and July 12-13.

Both will be held in the Student Center from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

You do not need to make an appointment to donate.
