Dr. Michael Martin to speak at Acadian Memorial

Join us at the Memorial June 21, 2017 at 4pm as we welcome Dr. Michael Martin, Director of the Center for Louisiana Studies at UL Lafayette, during the Acadian Memorial Foundation`s Annual Membership Meeting.   Dr. Martin will speak on the latest research and publications on Acadian history, after a short business meeting.

A reception follows the meeting and presentation.

Membership in the Foundation is open to anyone interested in the Acadian Memorial or the Cajun-Acadian culture. 

In addition to his work with the CLS, Dr. Martin is also Editor of the LA Quarterly of the Louisiana Historical Association and Publisher of UL Press. 

The Acadian Memorial and its Museum are municipally owned and operated by the City of St. Martinville, with support from the Acadian Memorial Foundation.
