Lone Star Flight MuseumOn Saturday, supporters, staff and volunteers, along with the public, attended a special event hosted by the Lone Star Flight Museum to say goodbye to its Galveston home and celebrate the journey to the museum's new Ellington Airport location.

Picnic fare was served in the museum among the world-class collection of planes and aviation artifacts.

Pilots, volunteers and staff were on hand to encourage the enthusiastic crowd to make plans to attend the Grand Opening of the Ellington Airport location on Labor Day weekend and to be a part in helping the new Lone Star Flight Museum soar!

George Gould provided the photos for this report.
