This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “Dance of Asian America: East Meets West XVI” in Houston and the Third Coast Music Festival in Galveston.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present Rodney Crowell & Joe Robinson on Sunday at 7 p.m. as part of the Third Coast Music Festival.

The festival takes place throughout Galveston at various venues over four days, April 26-29.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will present “Dance of Asian America: East Meets West XVI” on Saturday at 8:15 p.m.

Alley Theatre ends its production of “Cleo” this week. Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Main Street Theater in Houston wraps up with “Daisy” this week, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson continues with “Death Trap”, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through May 6.

Upcoming performances include “Last of the Red Hot Lovers”, opening May 11 at Island ETC East-End Theatre Company in Galveston, and “Daddy Long Legs”, opening May 19 at Main Street Theater in Houston.
