ACC Recognizes Students on Awards Day

Alvin Community College recognized several students for academic excellence during the Award Day ceremony on April 23.

Among the winners included Tori Bitner, of Alvin, who was awarded the President’s Award.

While attending ACC, Bitner was active with Student Activities, Student Government, New Student Orientation and more. She also helped deliver the monthly Student Government address during Board of Regents meetings.

Many other students also were honored and given scholarships during the ceremony. The scholarships were awarded by several ACC departments and civic organizations including Soroptimist International of Alvin and Alvin Sunrise Rotary.
