Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to award a $1,144,420 contract to Terra Associates, Inc. for engineering services related to the Lake Olympia Segment 2 Mobility Bond Project.

The firm will design the project, which includes construction of a two-lane concrete boulevard from Chimney Rock Road to 2,600 feet east of Mustang Bayou, and a four-lane concrete boulevard from 2,600 east of Mustang Bayou to FM 21.

The commissioners court voted to award a $362,956 contract to Huitt-Zollars, Inc. for engineering services for the Grand Parkway and Mason Road mobility bond projects.

The commissioners court voted to accept a Supplemental Capital Defense award in the amount of $26,489 as an addition to the FY2018 Formula Grant Award from the Texas Indigent Defense Commission.

The commissioners court voted to approve an intergovernmental agreement with Fort Bend County and the Houston-Galveston Area Council for participation in the Regional DWI Task Force Program, effective May 1 through September 30.

The commissioners court voted to approve an amendment of year two of the service provider agreement with the United Way of Greater Houston.
