by Garrett Bryce
Wednesday, May 02, 2018

Sugar Land City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve an advanced funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation in connection with the installation of ornamental signal poles for the State Highway 6 Widening Project.

The city will pay $355,400 to TxDOT for 100 percent of the cost of the upgraded poles.

The city council voted to approve, on final reading, an ordinance rezoning 78 acres of commercially developed properties in New Territory from an Interim Single-Family Residential District to various business districts.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with council members Mary Joyce and Steve Porter absent. Agenda
