#LCLove Campaign Launching at League City Music Festival May 4 and 5
News Release
Thursday, May 03, 2018

Residents and visitors encouraged to share their love for League City

As part of a new League City social media campaign, residents, businesses, organizations and visitors can now use the hashtag #LCLove to share photos and comments about why they love League City.

The #LCLove campaign is launching at this weekend’s League City Music Festival and BBQ Cookoff at Walter Hall Park, 807 Highway 3 N, TX 77573. Attendees can visit the League City tent on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 to express their League City love on video or in a photograph, which will then be shared on the City’s Twitter feed and Facebook page.  In addition, festival guests can use a special #LCLove filter on Snapchat.

“Whether you’ve lived here all your life, just moved here or are visiting for a day, there’s lots to love about our City,” said League City Director of Communications Sarah Greer Osborne. “We wanted to create a way for residents and visitors to the City to interact and provide feedback to us. Launching the campaign at the League City Music Festival provides us with the perfect mix of locals and those visiting from throughout the Houston-Galveston region who want to hear some great bands and enjoy delicious BBQ.”

Acts performing at this year’s festival include Sammy Kershaw, the Shiny Ribs, Bag of Donuts and rising country stars Maddie and Tae.  Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $15 each day or $25 for both days. Kids under 12 get in free before 5 p.m. with the purchase of an adult ticket. First responders can get in free Friday by showing their Agency ID. Gates are open Friday from 3 p.m. – 12 a.m.  and Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 a.m.
