LPPD Releases sketch of sexual assault suspect
News Release
Sunday, May 06, 2018

The La Porte Police Department received a report regarding an allegation of Sexual Assault of a minor female that occurred on Sunday night, April 29, 2018, in the 600 block of South Broadway La Porte, Texas. The minor female was walking alone when approached near the La Porte Public Library and assaulted by the unknown male suspect.

This is an update to the first reported assault and NOT a second victim.

The victim was able to provide information leading to the development of the attached sketch of the suspect. Additionally the victim gave more detailed information describing the tattoo on the right wrist of the suspect as black in color and the written word “Date”, not a numerical representation of a date. The victim also stated the font of the tattoo reminded her of the font similar to the one on a Time magazine cover. The victim detailed the “Lady” tattoo and advised this tattoo is centrally located on the chest of the suspect and depicts a portrait of a woman from the collar bone up. This tattoo is also all black. The victim believes there was lettering “surrounding” the image of the woman. This lettering was also similar to the word “date” on the right wrist of the suspect. It is possible this writing extends across the chest of the suspect.

The victim again describes the suspect as a white male with short brown hair, a stubble beard, white skin, hazel eyes, and wearing a black tank top with white “boxers”. The suspect is believed to be in the 5’3” to 5’6” range.

The La Porte Police Department is actively investigating this case. If you have any information that may assist in identifying the male suspect, please contact the La Porte Police Department at 281-471-2141.
