Downtown Construction Prompts Temporary Late Evening Bus Shuttle Along Green & Purple Lines

Beginning Monday, May 14, 2018, METRO will modify late evening rail service on the Green and Purple Lines in order to allow work crews to remove scaffolding along Rusk Street at Fannin Street.

During these periods, METRO will operate free bus shuttles along the Green and Purple Lines from EADO/Stadium Station to Theater District Station. 

Patrons can board the shuttles at designated stops (click here for details). Buses are scheduled to run every 10 minutes each evening beginning at 10:30 p.m. until the end of scheduled rail service on the following dates:

  • Monday, May 14, 2018 
  • Tuesday, May 15, 2018 
  • Wednesday, May 16, 2018 

METRO staff members will be on site to assist customers. Please allow more time for your trip.

Riders are encouraged to monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely information regarding transit. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.
