This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “God’s Man in Texas” in Texas City and “Beauty and the Beast” in Nassau Bay.

College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City will kick off its production of “God’s Man in Texas” on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through June 3.

Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay will open its production of “Beauty and the Beast” on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through June 3.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will host the Houston Grand Opera Association for its production of “The Barber of Seville.”

Performances are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m.

Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson will present “The 39 Steps” with an opening night performance on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through June 10.

Beaumont Community Players continues with the musical “Young Frankenstein” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Betty Greenberg Center in Beaumont.

The production runs through May 26.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its production of “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” this week. Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through June 3.

Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company in Galveston continues “Last of the Red Hot Lovers” this week. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through May 26.

Main Street Theater in Houston official opens its production of “Daddy Long Legs” on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Preview performances take place Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., and an additional performance is on Sunday at 3 p.m. The show runs through June 17.

Upcoming performances include “Guys & Dolls”, presented by Theatre Under the Stars in Houston and opening June 12, and “I’m Not Lying!” with Jaston Williams at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston on June 23.
