Deer Park City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to award a contract for professional auditing services to Belt Harris Pechacek, LLLP.

The city council voted to authorize the termination of an agreement with South Pools, Inc. for the Dow Park Pavilion and Improvements Project. The company was previously given 100 days to complete the project. The timeframe concluded on May 12 and the contract was not completed.

The city council voted to award a $29,945 contract to SKE Construction, LLC for the Surface Water Treatment Plant Driveway Project.

The city council voted to renew a contract with KHSS Ventures, Inc., doing business as Skillet's Restaurant, for the Senior Meals Program.

The city council voted to reappoint Georgette Ford and Eric Ripley to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

The city council voted to reappoint Dr. Donald Metz, Bill Pedersen, and Jay Stokes to the Board of Health, and to reappoint Dr. Andrew Metz as the Assistant City Health Officer.

The city council voted to appoint Larry Wilson as Municipal court Judge.

The city council voted to nominate Shell Chemical, LP as an Enterprize Zone Project under the Texas Enterprise Zone Program.
The city council voted to nominate Deer Park Refining Limited Partnership as an Enterprize Zone Project.

The city council voted to move the date of the July 3 city council meeting to July 10 due to the Independence Day holiday.
