Village of Tiki Island Board of Aldermen

The Village of Tiki Island Board of Aldermen on Tuesday voted unanimously to award an $8,273 contract to Rainey Pool Company for the the renovation of the Tiki Island entrance sign.

The renovation will consist of a 4-foot, 4-foot deep and 16 foot long planter box with stone face and flagstone cap.

The cost of the project will be paid through hotel tax receipts.

The board voted to amend the city's Code of Ordinances concernign solid waste requiring all residents to subscribe to solid waste management service by the village's contracted carrier, which is currently Ameri-Waste.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with Alderman Hunter Neblett absent. Agenda

During the meeting, Aldermen Tom Fisher and Karen Hearring took their oath of office for another term on the board. Fisher, Hearring and Neblett were unopposed for re-election.
