Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to appoint Lisa Loranc as Brazoria County Library Director, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to adopt a resolution recognizing Lieutenants Juan and Clara Gomez, commanding officers for the Salvation Army of Brazoria County. Resolution

The commissioners court voted unanimously to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service for the Emergency Watershed Protection Program.

The program will provide 90 percent of the funding for a project to be conducted by the Angleton Drainage District in Precinct 1.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the Angleton Drainage District. The item was amended to reflect it related to Precinct 1, not Precinct 2.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the Angleton Drainage District regarding the Emergency Watershed Project. The item was amended to reflect it is related to Precinct 4, not Precinct 2.

The commissoners court voted unanimously to reject an offer of $500 for tax foreclosed property in Hinkle Estates Lands, Lot 2J21, totaling 0.66 acres.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the district attorney to file suit against James Herring and any responsible party for violations of the Texas Health and Safety Code in connection with operations occurring at or near 4515 County Road 459B, in Freeport, Texas, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court took no other action resulting from items discussed in closed session.
