Wednesday, June 06, 2018

Houston, TX – Core Dance, the award-winning contemporary dance organization based in Houston, TX, and Decatur, GA will present EnCORE Dance on Film at Barnstorm Dance Fest, June 14-23, 2018 in collaboration with Dance Source Houston. These filmed dance works, specifically choreographed for the camera, will be presented as a non-ending loop during the run of the dance fest outside MATCHBox2.  Guests can view the films at any time the Midtown Arts and Theatre Complex Houston is open.  MATCH is located at 3400 Main Street, Houston, 77002.

Thirty-four (34) films, all less than 20 minutes long, will be looped or projected on screens outside MATCHBox 2. All the films in the formal presentation have soundtracks that will be played with the films. Submissions were solicited earlier this year, and selected by a panel of judges.
