Brazoria County
Firework Sale Restrictions in Place for Brazoria County
Press Release
Tuesday, June 12, 2018

Brazoria County –  Commissioners Court voted on June 12, 2018, to implement certain firework restrictions due to drought conditions throughout the county. The restriction was put into place immediately following Commissioners Court on June 12th.

With Fourth of July just around the corner, and the current burn ban in place,  the sale and use of “skyrockets with sticks” and “missiles with fins” in any portion of the unincorporated area of Brazoria County is prohibited. The restrictions on the sale and use of certain fireworks is a precautionary measure to keep life and property safe during the current extreme dry conditions.

Please refer to the Brazoria County website for updates concerning the sale and use of certain restricted fireworks http://www.brazoriacountytx.gov
