Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include the continuation of the ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights series in Houston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston continues its ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights series on Friday, with Gershwin's Concerto in F at 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Miller Theatre will host the symphony for Schumann and Fancy Free.

The Alley Theater in Houston continues its production of “Holmes and Watson” this week.

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through July 22.

Alley Theater also wraps up with “The Cake”, with performances on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 and 8 p.m., and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Upcoming performances include “Macbeth”, opening July 13 at Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay, and “Cry-Baby: The Musical”, opening July 12 at College of the Mainland Community Theatre.
