Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves

The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves today voted unanimously to award a contract for master planning services to Bermello Ajamil & Partners in an amount not to exceed $799,653.

The board listened to a presentation given by company president and chief executive officer Luis Ajamil. Listen (21:06)

“We create master plans that you gives you actual items, that gives you an inside perspective of the future, and gives you choices to make as a board and staff going forward,” said Ajamil.

The board voted unanimously to award a contract for access and revenue control solution – parking and ground transportation not to exceed $547,666 with Associated Time & Parking Controls.

Representatives from the company provided a presentation to the board.

The board voted unanimously to approve vacation benefits for port employees.
